DRINK-DRIVER Scott Calvert has been banned from the roads.

Calvert, 34, admitted driving a Vauxhall Astra on the A27 at Farlington after drinking too much.

A test revealed his breath contained 75 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

He admitted committing the offence while subject to a 12-month conditional discharge.

Calvert, of Beaulieu Avenue, Leigh Park, was fined £450 and told to pay £85 costs and £15 to a fund for crime victims.

Portsmouth magistrates banned him from driving for 18 months.
