A MAN had his life savings stolen by burglars from his home in St Mary’s Road, Portsmouth.

Thieves broke into his flat and ransacked it before making off with several thousand pounds. Police have not disclosed how much was taken.

A Samsung television and Blu Ray player, a Samsung camera, a gold chain with a cross pendant and three gold rings were also taken between 6pm and 11pm on Sunday.

One of the rings is a knot ring which has been customised with a horse shoe and horse heads either side.
