POLICE are appealing for anyone who might have seen two dogs damaging trees and play equipment in playgrounds.

Two Staffordshire bull terrier-type dogs were reported to have been biting the trees and play equipment in the East Beach Play Area and the Manor Road and Manor Lane areas in Selsey.

Sussex Police says they caused extensive damage.

Witnesses said two men around the age of 19 were with the dogs at the time.

Anyone who saw the incidents or has information should call police on 101.
