A lorry driver has been charged with causing the death of a Petersfield woman and her brother in a motorway crash.

Eleanor Mills, who was 45, died when three cars, a horsebox and a lorry were involved in the accident on the northbound carriageway of the M11 on May 15 last year.

Her brother Geoffrey Mills, aged 53, who lived in the Netherlands, was also killed.

Roger Sharratt, 50, of Bagots Oak, Staffordshire, has been charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving. He will appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on October 6.
