MAGISTRATES have jailed a man who repeatedly ignored a driving ban.

Mantas Milvydas was caught driving to work on Toronto Road, Buckland, while he was banned.

The 27-year-old had been disqualified in January after previously being caught driving while banned.

The last time he was caught behind the wheel during a ban was in Fawcett Road, Southsea, in 2008.

Milvydas, of Ranelagh Road, Stamshaw, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and breaching a community order at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

He was jailed for 120 days and banned from driving for another three years.
