FIREFIGHTERS in Southsea have warned against malicious calls.

One crew was dispatched to Wingfield Street and two crews were sent to Cromwell Road on Wednesday evening - both of which turned out to be malicious calls.

Crew manager Adam Moseley branded the calls dangerous and said: ‘If we are attending a malicious phone call and a real fire breaks out, we are unable to attend.’
