A MAN has appeared in court charged with burglary of a Southsea property.

Daniel Fisher was charged in connection with the incident in Elm Grove which happened on November 17.

He appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates Court yesterday charged with burglary dwelling with intent to steal.

The 42-year-old, of Elm Grove, was also charged with driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and using a motor vehicle without insurance.

He has been bailed to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on December 18 at 10am.
