Man, 50, arrested after victim, 26, left with cut above eye following assault in Southsea

A MAN was arrested after an assault in Southsea on Saturday that left a man with a cut and swelling above his eye.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident that left a 26-year-old man injured on Waverley Road at around 2.35am.

A 50-year-old man from Copnor was arrested in connection with the incident and released under investigation.
