A MAN accused of murdering his ex-partner at her home is to face a retrial.

Phillip Brown, a driver in his mid-40s from Selsey, is accused of killing divorced mum-of-one Debbie Levey.

The care service manager was found dead at her Cherry Tree Cottage home in East Ashling on January 28 last year.

Brown went on trial at Lewes Crown Court on Monday charged with murder. However the trial was yesterday halted when a member of the 12-strong jury was taken ill.

It was due to restart today.
