MEAT thief David Carr has been put under supervision.

Carr pleaded guilty to stealing meat from a Co-op store in Fareham.

The 36-year-old, from Bury Road, Gosport, admitted committing the offence while subject to a 12-month conditional discharge for another theft.

Carr was put under supervision for a year by Fareham magistrates.

He was given a community order stating that he must take part in a thinking skills programme for 22 sessions.
