A MAN has appeared in court charged with burglary.

Otis Lovell Tomney, 33, of Howard Road, Hilsea, appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

He is accused of burglary following an alleged break-in in Military Road, Hilsea, on January 28.

He is due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on March 21.

n The arrest and charge was made under Operation Hawk, which is working to identify offenders, recover property and reduce house burglaries, to reassure to the public.
