A ROBBERY took place at a bookmakers in Paulsgrove.

Police are currently investigating the robbery which took place at 5.55pm yesterday at Ladbrokes on Leith Avenue.

A man entered the store and demanded money from the member of staff. He took a small amount of money from the till and left the store.

No one was injured during the incident.

A 34-year-old man from Bournemouth has been arrested by Dorset Police on suspicion of robbery. He has also been arrested in connection with two further robberies which occurred in Bournemouth earlier this week.
