Man arrested after woman is sexually assaulted in Portsmouth

A MAN has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault in Fratton last weekend.

It is alleged that a man sexually assaulted a woman in Gamble Road and Fratton Road while she was walking home on Saturday, November 3 between 1.30-2.30am.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Police officers are continuing to investigate, and are appealing for witnesses.
