A motorbike and Ford Transit van were involved in a collision in College Road, Crookhorn, at 2.15pm yesterday afternoon.

The motorbike rider, an 18-year-old woman, was taken to Southampton General Hospital with what has been described as '˜serious injuries'.

The Ford Transit driver, a 39-year-old man from Havant, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.

Police have confirmed that he has been released from custody but remains under investigation.

Investigations into the exact circumstances of the collision are continuing, and officers would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened.

Officers would also like to hear from motorists who were driving in the area and had a dash cam, as they could have captured something that could help the investigation.
