Police are seeking witnesses to a house fire in Gosport.

They say the blaze in a home in Hudson Close, on Tuesday is believed to have started some time between 3.55pm and 4.05pm.

Detective Constable Christopher Davies said: ‘ A 23-year-old man from Gosport was arrested yesterday on suspicion of arson. The man has since been released with no further action. Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the Hudson Close area on Tuesday.’
