A 24-YEAR-OLD arrested on suspicion of attacking a man with a machete has been bailed.

He was quizzed on suspicion of wounding with intent.

His arrest came after a man, named locally as Freddie Field, 28, was attacked in Sultan Road, Buckland, on Friday. The victim received hospital treatment and has been discharged.

Police are treating the case as a targeted attack and do not think anyone else is at risk.
