AN ALLEGED attacker is due in court after a man suffered serious leg injuries.

Roy Williams, 38, of Waverley Road, Southsea, has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, police said. He has been bailed to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on November 29.

It comes after a man in his 20s suffered serious injuries to his leg in Waverley Road, Southsea, on September 4 at 8.30am.

Two men, 42 and 38, from Southsea, were bailed until November 17. Call police on 101 quoting 44160332486 with information.
