Man in court over Havant and Hayling burglaries
A MAN appeared in court after being charged with burglary.
Andrew Evan Smith, 30, of Grafton Street, Buckland, appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on two counts of burglary, including stealing jewellery.
It follows an investigation by Hampshire police following a break-in at home in Church Lane, Hayling Island, on April 21 between 10.15am and 10.45am.
Police also investigated a burglary at a house in Montgomery Road, Havant, on April 15.
