Family’s urgent plea to find missing loved one

A MAN has died after falling from a balcony at a 17-storey block of flats in Portsmouth.

Police and ambulance crews are at Nickleby House, All Saints Road, Buckland, where the incident happened.

The man, who has not yet been identified, is not believed to be a resident at the property.

Police say his death is not being treated as suspicious.

The floor he fell from has not yet been revealed.

A Hampshire Police spokeswoman said: ‘Police were called to Nickleby House, All Saints, Road, Portsmouth at 9.55am today following a report that a man had fallen from the building.

‘It is not believed the man was a resident at Nickleby House. The incident is not being treated as suspicious at this time.’

Nickleby House is currently cordoned off with police tape and officers are standing guard at the scene.

A spokeswoman for South Central Ambulance Service said: ‘We were called at 9.55am to a male that had fallen from a height.

‘We sent an ambulance officer, but the patient had passed away at the scene.’
