Man due in court after Portsmouth assault
A MAN is due to appear in court today after being charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.
Russell Allen, 30, of Cascades Approach, in Portsmouth, is due at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court over an assault.
It comes after police were called to an incident in an isolated alleyway off Alec Rose Lane, in the city centre, in the early hours of October 15.
The victim sustained serious head injuries and was treated at Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham.
