MAGISTRATES have fined a man for failing to wear a seatbelt while driving.

Luke Gate, from Bridges Avenue, Paulsgrove, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Transit van in Havant Road, Farlington, while he was not wearing a seatbelt on July 24 last year.

The 22-year-old was fined £60 by Fareham magistrates.

Gates was also ordered to pay £35 costs to Hampshire Police Authority and £15 into a fund for victims of crime.
