A MAN has been fined £120 for not wearing a seat belt.

Shaun Liddiard was caught driving on the A3 northbound at Clanfield on December 19 last year. The 61-year-old was prosecuted at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.

He was told to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £120 prosecution costs.

Liddiard, of Rake Road, Liss, had pleaded guilty but then claimed he was wearing a belt. Finally, he accepted he was unable to challenge the prosecution’s evidence.
