Man fined '¨for assault

MAGISTRATES have fined a man for assault.

Thomas Robertson, 30, of Liverpool Road, Fratton, admitted assault by beating on December 3 last year.

Portsmouth magistrates fined him £225 with £50 compensation to pay. His plea was taken into account when he was sentenced.
