A MAN has been fined £200.

Basam Yocaoub, 38, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour causing fear of or provoking violence.

He committed the offence on November 14 in Southsea against Mohammed Ahmed.

Portsmouth magistrates fined him and told him to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £100 prosecution costs.

His plea was taken into account when he was sentenced.
