SERIAL meat thief Luke Stapley has been ordered to get help for his drug addiction.

The 29-year-old, of Durley Road, Gosport, admitted stealing at least £163 of meat in total in two separate thefts from a Gosport Co-op.

He pleaded guilty to stealing £227 of meat from Waitrose in the town between June and August.

He was put under supervision for nine months and ordered to have six months of treatment for drug dependency by Portsmouth magistrates.
