MAGISTRATES have fined a man who admitted possessing cannabis.

Dean Shields pleaded guilty to having a small amount of the class B drug on him in Norley Close, Havant, on July 28.

The 31-year-old was fined £50 by Portsmouth magistrates.

Shields was told to pay £15 to a fund for crime victims and £50 in court cost.

The court ordered that the cannabis should be destroyed.
