A MAN caught with a baseball bat has been told to do unpaid work.

Thomas Barlow, 20, of Mill Road, Waterlooville, admitted having the offensive weapon on him in the same street.

He was told to do 80 hours of unpaid work and pay £85 costs by Portsmouth magistrates.

An order was made for the baseball bat to be forfeited and destroyed.
