A MAN had three teeth kicked out in a brutal attack.

John Waddington, 44, was set upon by three men who punched and kicked him unconscious – while a fourth man filmed the attack on a mobile phone.

The victim was walking home from a night out with friends in Southsea during the early hours when the assault took place in Burnaby Road, Portsea.

Mr Waddington said: ‘It was a sickening and cowardly attack,’ he said.

‘They kicked my teeth down my throat and left me lying in a pool of my own blood. The whole thing was all over so quickly; I saw them coming towards me rubbing their hands and then I was being punched and kicked to the ground.

‘My memory is only coming back slowly, and the dental work I’m going to need is likely to cost hundreds of pounds.’ The attack took place between 1am and 3am on Sunday, April 3.
