A MAN had two teeth knocked out in a burglary at a flat in Portsmouth.
The 50-year-old was attacked after three men broke into his home, in North Street, Portsea, while his elderly mother was in.
The incident happened at 10.20pm on Wednesday, February 18.
A chest of drawers in a bedroom was searched but police say nothing appears to have been taken.
The man and his mother, who is in her 80s, were left shaken. The offenders were black and wore blue jeans and hooded tops.
One of the taller men wore a red hat and the shorter of the three carried a black rucksack. Detective Constable Stuart Moore said: ‘This type of burglary is unusual and appears to be isolated.’
