A FAREHAM man has been arrested following clashes at a nationalist rally in Brighton.

About 300 people took part in the fourth annual March For England and a counter demonstration in the Sussex city.

Missiles were thrown at march protesters during the rally and eight people were arrested, mostly for public order offences.

The 21-year-old from Fareham was arrested on suspicion of using offensive language in a public place.
