A MAN has been jailed after he carried on driving after being banned from the roads.

Martin Labram repeatedly ignored his ban.

But after the 39-year-old was caught driving while disqualified for the fourth time the magistrates ran out of patience and he was locked up for 24 weeks.

Labram’s latest arrest came after he was seen driving a Saab 900 in Beresford Road, North End.

Labram, of South East Crescent, Southampton, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and without insurance at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

He was ordered to pay £85 in costs and banned from driving for another 18 months.
