THE sentencing of a burglar has been delayed.

Joshua Clarke, 28, of Inverness Road, Gosport, appeared at Portsmouth Crown Court yesterday to be sentenced for a break-in at Sheer Glamour hairdressers, Forton Road, Gosport.

He has admitted burglary, possession of an offensive weapon and a public order offence.

But the case was adjourned as a pre-sentence report has not been carried out on Clarke.

He was remanded in custody until next month.
