A MAN has appeared in court accused of burgling an elderly woman’s home.

Christopher Doughty, 53, appeared at Southampton Crown Court accused of an aggravated burglary in Hambledon on October 9.

As reported, an elderly lady and her carer were bound and gagged during a 2am raid on their home.

Doughty, of Holly Gardens, in West End, Southampton, will next appear at Southampton Crown Court to make a plea on February 27.
