A MAN who exposed himself to a group of children who were playing in a park has been remanded in custody.
Marco Deluca approached a group of youngsters, aged 10 to 13, at the Stamshaw recreation ground, in Stamshaw, Portsmouth, on May 15 last year.
He spoke to the group of boys and girls before exposing himself.
Deluca, who had been drinking, was arrested nearby a short time later after one of the children dialled 999.
The 49-year-old, of Hawthorn Crescent, Cosham, pleaded guilty to a charge of exposure at a previous hearing at Portsmouth Crown Court and was released on bail.
He was due to be sentenced yesterday but the court heard Deluca had not turned up for a meeting with the probation service for a pre-sentence report.
Judge Sarah Munro QC agreed to adjourn the case to give Deluca another chance to meet with the probation service.
But this time she remanded him in custody.
Judge Munro told him: ‘I am going to grant the application made on your behalf for a further adjournment in order for the probation service to prepare a full report on you.
‘But understand this, the fact that I am adjourning sentence again is not to be taken by you as any indication of the sentence that you will receive.’
Deluca is due back in court to be sentenced later this month.
