A MAN was ordered to pay £275 after he admitted drinking and driving in a car park.

Anthony Chalmers, 22, was also banned from driving for 12 months after he was pulled over on January 15 this year by police for driving while drunk in a public car park off Bulbeck Road, Havant.

Chalmers, of Billy’s Copse, Havant, was fined £175 after pleading guilty at Portsmouth Magistrates Court, and also instructed to pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs. He was told he could reduce his driving ban by three months if he completes a driving course.
