A MEDICATION thief has been jailed.

Bradley Reid, 26, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to trespass as he entered a pharmacy and stole medication. Reid targeted the Lloyds pharmacy in Emsworth on May 23.

Portsmouth magistrates jailed him for 18 weeks as he has 70 similar previous convictions.

He committed the offence while on post-release licence. Reid must pay a £180 criminal courts charge.

He also admitted two breaches of the supervision requirements for his licence and jailed for an extra two weeks.
