POLICE are appealing for information after a man was robbed in Wimbledon Park Road, Southsea.

The 35-year-old man was walking when a cyclist rode up behind him and punched his head at about 4.50pm on February 10.

He lost consciousness and fell to the ground before coming round to see the cyclist pulling £40 cash from his pocket.

The offender, believed to be male, was around 5ft 8in, and of a large build.

He wore blue or black clothing, thick light-coloured gloves, and a light-coloured scarf covering his face, with a dark hood worn up over a light-coloured baseball cap.
