Drug runner lost ‘half his face’ in turf war shooting – jurors told

A man’s body has been discovered at a flat in Portsea, police have confirmed.

Officers were called to the home in King William Street just before 10.15am yesterday, where they made the discovery.

Fire crews also arrived to help after reports of suspected hazardous materials in the flat, but the area was declared safe.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
