A MAN was jailed after admitting stealing from a supermarket.

Luke Wilcox took razor bladses and DVDs worth £163 from Asda in Speedfields Park, Fareham, on February 19.

He appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court and pleaded guilty to the charge.

Magistrates jailed him for 14 days due to his previous record.

Wilcox, of Launceston Close, Hardway, Gosport, started his prison term last month.

All of the items were recovered and the 27-year-old was given credit for his plea.
