A 20-year-old man suffered a broken jaw following a night out in Portsmouth.

A police officer found the victim lying on the ground outside Tiger Tiger in Gunwharf Quays.

He received first-aid but his injuries did not appear to be serious. However, it transpired the next day he had fractured his lower jaw.

The victim, from Fareham, said he was punched in the face by a white man, in his 20s, wearing a blue and white checked shirt shortly after 1am on Sunday, February 20. Police have only just released the details. Call 101.
