A MAN must pay more than £100 after clashing with a police officer.

Matthew Ayling, 28, of Privett Road, Waterlooville, pleaded guilty to resisting a PC in the execution of his duty.

Portsmouth magistrates imposed a 12-month conditional discharge with £75 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

He committed the offence on June 11 in Portsmouth.
