MAGISTRATES have fined a man for using a mobile phone while driving.

Mark Voller had denied committing the offence while driving a Ford Escort van in Stonechat Road, Waterlooville, on July 22 last year.

But the 37-year-old was found guilty by Fareham magistrates.

Voller, of Elmeswelle Road, Waterlooville, was fined £150 and told to pay £225 costs.

He must also pay £15 into a fund for crime victims.

Three penalty points were added to his driving licence.
