A MAN was left with a heavily-bleeding head and broken bones after a vicious attack in a town centre.

The 23-year-old man was with his girlfriend in Market Parade, Havant, when he was set upon by three men.

When officers arrived the victim was bleeding heavily from a head injury.

He was later treated at Queen Alexandra Hospital for a broken collar bone and cuts and bruising to his face.

The victim told police he had been punched during a dispute with three men he did not know.

The attack happened at about 12.30am on Sunday, although details have just been released by police.

Detectives have released an e-fit of one the suspects.

The victim described the three men as white and aged in their early 20s.

He was wearing a black T-shirt with a white logo on the front.

The second and third men were slim, around 6ft tall, both had short dark hair and were clean shaven. Both men were wearing dark clothing and one of them was wearing a dark cape.
