Man warned by police after being found with 15 bags of cannabis
A MAN has been given a warning by police after he was found in possession of 15 bags of cannabis.
The 20-year-old was arrested at a property in Laburnum Road, Waterloovile, following reports of an alleged domestic incident and while being arrested, officers found the drugs.
However, speaking to The News yesterday, a police spokesman said the 20-year-old was given a cannabis warning for the drug offences and a police official added that no further action was taken over the domestic assault allegations.
The offence took place on Wednesday, February 21.
