THREE masked men threatened a man with a knife or sword, police have said.

The 36-year-old was pulling up at his home in First Avenue, Catherington, in his car on Saturday at about 7.30pm.

One of the men, who appeared to be wearing balaclavas, possibly had a knife or sword.

The alleged victim was 
not injured and the man 
walked off towards Draycote Road.

A Hampshire police spokesman said: ‘The three men were all wearing dark clothing with hoods up and appeared to be wearing balaclavas.

‘They were all between 5ft 10ins and 6ft tall and were described as having a stocky build.

‘No other similar reports have been received by police in the area.’
