SEVEN men have been arrested after at least eight mobile phones were stolen during a Chase and Status gig.

Police fear more crimes could come to light that are linked to the concert at Portsmouth Guildhall on Tuesday.

The suspects arrested are aged 54, 32, 31, 30, 20, 19 and 16. Last night all seven were still in police custody.

A spokeswoman for Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘Police are appealing to others who attended the event to contact them if they believe their belongings were stolen. It may be that items were thought to have been lost instead of stolen.’
