DRIVERS are being urged to lock their vehicles following thefts in Bedhampton.

A white Ford Transit van parked near Hartleys Stores, on Bedhampton Road, was broken into overnight on Saturday. The offender broke a side window and stole money from the van.

It comes as police have seen an increase in vehicle crime in the area in the past fortnight.
