MOTORIST Jautris Aldins was caught driving while twice the alcohol limit.

Aldins, from Estella Road, Portsmouth, admitted committing the offence while driving a Volkswagen Passat in Grafton Road, Portsmouth.

A test revealed the 23-year-old’s breath contained 70 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mg per 100ml of breath.

Aldins admitted driving the car without a valid licence or insurance.

He was ordered to pay £590 in a fine and costs by Portsmouth magistrates.

Aldins was banned from driving for 20 months.
