THE former head of a residents’ association charged with fraud has been rebailed.

Paul Fisher, 66, of Southleigh Grove, Hayling, is charged with one count of fraud involving £31,000 while he was a committee member of the Hayling Cycle Ride, which raised money for charity.

Mr Fisher, the former chairman of Hayling Island Residents’ Association, denies the charge.

He has been rebailed to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on July 8.
