A JUNE crackdown on drink driving has seen more people charged.

Andrzej Janas, 35, was arrested at 11.40pm on Sunday after he stopped his vehicle for no reason in Felpham Way, Bognor Regis.

Janas, of The Steyne, Bognor Regis, was charged with drink-driving and released on bail to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on July 16.

Three other people were charged for driving offences in West Sussex.

A total of 90 people have so far been charged with offences during Sussex Police’s June operation.

As part of Operation Dragonfly, road policing unit officers are on dedicated patrols looking for offenders.

Teams are responding to tip-offs from members of the public who see someone they know has been drinking getting into a car to drive.

People in Sussex can text officers on 65999 with the details of people they suspect of drink or drug driving or visitoperationcrackdown.co.uk. If you see someone drink driving call 999.
